Mt. Hood/Portland Golf Lessons

The Resort at The Mountain’s PGA golf professionals are available to provide individual, family or group instruction, and they are happy to assist in organizing special golf outings, tournaments or events. These Mt. Hood golf lessons will enhance your enjoyment of the game and hopefully your play as well!

Private Instruction:

Private instruction with one of our experienced instructors is offered anytime by appointment and will sharpen your ball striking ability and help you get the most out of your swing. We can also help you improve your chipping and putting. The Resort’s new 11,000 sq. ft. putting green is the perfect setting to knock a few strokes off your score!

30-minute private lesson with Head Pro: $45

45-minute private lesson with Head Pro: $60

30-minute lessons for Junior Golfers (17 & under): $25

Private On-Course Lessons:

Long before the invention of the “driving range,” golf was taught on the course. We still enjoy this tradition at The Resort. Playing lessons provide an enjoyable time on the course with one of our Professionals, where golfers learn more about strategy, course management, and getting the most out of the game! It’s soooo worth the “drive” from Portland! On-course lessons are by appointment.

Individual 9 holes: $120 (does not include green fee)
Swing/game analysis provided following round.

Group Instruction:

Group instruction is ideal for learning golf in a relaxed atmosphere and is recommended for beginners as well as intermediate golfers. Bring a friend, or a group of friends, and learn to improve your game together! Offered any time by appointment.

60-minute group lesson for two golfers with Head Pro: $90
Additional golfers: $20 per person

Special Corporate Clinics are also available.

Family Instruction:

There’s no better way to enjoy family time together than this! Offered anytime by appointment.

60-minute family lesson — limited to five family members: $90
